If there is other damage we will contact you to discuss our findings and additional cost of repair. The standard cost to rebuild a Bridgeport Variable Speed head is $2150.00 and typical leat time is usually a 1-3 week from date of arrival depending on our backlog.  Please give us a call at 267-854-4347 with any questions you have.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”black” border_width=”2″][vc_column_text]1. Set-up on test bench and test run the head for operation at all speeds and feeds prior to disassembly.

2. Disassemble and clean each component of the upper head, inspection for damage and or excessive wear, will informing you of any problems we find that are over and above the standard rebuild.

3. Install new upper head bearings, belts, bushings, and keys into the upper half of the head.

4. Remove and disassemble spindle. Clean and flush existing bearings.

5. Repack spindle bearings with high speed grease.

6. Reassemble spindle and test for proper operation.

B. All freight to and from our facility will be additional. We can help you set up freight if needed, just call us.

C. If the spindle bearings need to be replaced add $350.00
